7 Bedroom Paint Colors Recommended by Interior Designers
Choosing a bedroom wall paint color is a personal thing and depends on the preferences of each person.
Maybe some are looking for a happy hue or calm after doing many activities throughout the day.
1. Off white
"It's the perfect off-white color to brighten up a space and make your room seem bigger. Warm, cozy and clean for a relaxing environment. It's also very versatile, so you can play around with different accent colors and decorative pillows, says Anna Franklin, an interior designer and founder of the Stone House Collective.
2. Pink blush
"This is a super light blush that's soft and subtle, perfect for setting a calm mood. I'd use this color throughout the room so your eyes won't be distracted by the different color combinations," says Diana Weinstein, an interior designer. and founder of DW Design.
3. Soft cream
"For the bedroom, I like to use soft neutrals and warmer colors like soft beige," says Weinstein.
"I painted the entire room, from the moldings to the ceiling and it created a calming effect. It's warm and welcoming without taking over the space and I feel much fresher than cool grays," she adds.
4. White
The biggest challenge with white paint is when it goes gray, blue, or yellow, and changes the look you want. However, white is a pretty color. A pure white that has no undertones and is perfect for a bedroom," says Alessandra Wood, design expert and VP of Style at Modsy.
5. Gray
"It's a soft hue that's ideal for walls and blends beautifully with a variety of materials and fabrics," says Andrea Magno, Director of Marketing and Color Development for Benjamin Moore.
6. Light blue
"I especially like this color for the bedroom. Floor-to-ceiling paint, including trim, for a classic and subtle look," says Wood.
7. Pink
"This soft pink hue gives a subtle glow to a beautiful room from morning to night, making it a great choice for a bedroom," says Magno.
